Managing Navigation Menus
The website uses three distinct navigation menus: Main Navigation, Footer Navigation, and the Media Kit Navigation. Each serves a specific purpose and can only be edited by an admin. Let’s start with the Main Navigation.
Main Navigation

The Main Navigation appears at the top of the website and is the primary means for users to explore key sections (e.g., Attractions, Schedule, Floorplan, Buy Tickets). This menu is tied to the Header Template Part and should only be edited by an admin.
Editing the Main Navigation

Access the Header Template Part:
- Navigate to Appearance > Editor > Patterns.
- Locate and open the Header Template Part.
Select the Navigation Block:

- Click on the navigation menu within the header.
- This block controls the Main Navigation.
Making Changes:
Add Links:

- Click the + Add Link button.
- Choose a page, post, or custom URL to add a new link.
- Reorder Links:
- Drag and drop links in the desired order.
- Remove Links:
- Click on a link and select Remove from the block toolbar.
- Save Changes:
- Click Save in the top-right corner to apply updates across the site.
Footer Navigation

The Footer Navigation is located at the bottom of the website and includes links to additional resources like “Home,” “Tickets,” and “Exhibitors.”
Editing the Footer Navigation
- Access the Footer Template Part:
- Navigate to Appearance > Editor.
- Open the Footer Template Part.
- Edit the Navigation Block:
- Follow the same steps as the Main Navigation to add, remove, or reorder links.
- Save Changes:
- Ensure you save your changes to update the site.
Managing the Media Kit Navigation

The Media Kit Navigation is specific to the Media Kit Template and is part of the Post Media Template. It functions similarly to the other menus but is tied directly to this template for use within the Media Kit content.
Accessing the Media Kit Navigation
- Navigate to the Templates Section:
- Go to Appearance > Editor > Templates.
- Select the Post Media Template.
- Locate the Navigation Block

- In the template editor, use the List View to find the Navigation Block for the Media Kit menu.
- This block is nested under a group within the Header.
Editing the Media Kit Menu
- Add Links:
- Click on the + Add Link button within the Navigation Block.
- Select a page, post, or custom URL to add it to the menu.
- Reorder Links:
- Use drag-and-drop functionality in the List View to change the order of the links.
- Group Links:
- The Media Kit menu is divided into sections like “News and Headlines” and “Resources Gallery.”
- To create a new section:
- Add a Submenu Block and place links within it.
- Remove Links:
- Click on a link, select the three-dot menu in the block toolbar, and choose Remove Link.
Save and Apply Changes
- After making your edits, click Save in the top-right corner to apply the changes across the Media Kit pages.
- Key Differences from Other Menus
- The Media Kit Navigation is template-specific and will only appear in the Media Kit Template.
- It is designed for dynamic updates to reflect the Media Kit’s unique content needs.
Notes and Restrictions
- Only admins can make changes to the navigation block.
- Test all links after updates to ensure proper functionality.
