Backdrop Heading

The Backdrop Heading is a custom block that allows you to create visually striking headings with a dynamic backdrop effect. This block is ideal for highlighting sections or drawing attention to key content.

Adding a Backdrop Heading

  1. Insert the Block:
    1. Open the page or post where you want to add the heading.
    2. Click the + Block Inserter and search for “Backdrop Heading.”
    3. Select it to add the block to your content.
  2. Enter Heading Text:
    1. Type your desired heading directly into the block.

Customizing the Backdrop Heading

  1. Color Selection:
    1. Select the block and go to the Block Settings panel on the right.
    2. Under Color, choose a Text Color for the heading.
    3. The backdrop will automatically adjust to complement the chosen text color, ensuring readability and style consistency.

Event Schedule

The Event Schedule Block dynamically loads and displays data from the Events CPT. This block is designed to simplify the process of showcasing an event schedule on any page without requiring manual content updates.

Adding the Event Schedule Block

  1. Insert the Block
    1. Open the page where you want to display the event schedule.
    2. Click the + Block Inserter and search for “Event Schedule.”
    3. Select the block to add it to your page.
  2. Placement:
    1. Drag and drop the block to position it within your layout.

How It Works

  • The block automatically pulls data from the Events CPT, including:
    • Event Title
    • Date and Time
    • Description (if provided)
    • No manual input is required. Any updates to events in the CPT will reflect in the block instantly.

Test Drive Block

Test Drive BlockThe Test Drive Block is an Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) block designed to display brand logos and associated details dynamically. When clicked, the logo opens a dialog showing information like models and test drive dates.

Adding the Test Drive Block

  1. Insert the Block:
    1. Open the page or section where you want to showcase the test drive information.
    2. Click the + Block Inserter and search for “Test Drive Block.”
    3. Select the block to add it to your page.
  2. Add Content via ACF Fields:
    1. Brand Image:
      1. Upload the brand logo using the provided image uploader in the block settings.
    2. Models Tab:
      1. Add the list of vehicle models available for test drives.
      2. Each model is entered as a separate field, allowing for a detailed breakdown.
    3. Dates Tab:
      1. Specify the event dates and times for the test drives.
      2. Use the “Add Date” button to include multiple entries.

Frontend Display

  • On the frontend:
    • The brand logo appears prominently.
    • Clicking the logo triggers a dialog box that dynamically displays:
      • Vehicle models (entered in the Models Tab).
      • Test drive dates and times (entered in the Dates Tab).
      • Any additional content configured in the ACF fields.

Customizing the Block

  • Reorder Items:
    • Drag and drop entries in the ACF interface to rearrange models or dates.
